    Description

Thanks for helping us preserve this vintage, collectible sports shirt.
This Vintage Vintage WINNIPEG Blue Bombers CFL Football T-Shirt XL. It is part of a collection made by twin brothers who were both sports fanatics…okay, let’s be honest, MANIACS. This Vintage Canadian Football League shirt was produced by Fruit of the Loom and measures 22 inches from armpit to armpit, 20.5 inches from shoulder to shoulder, and 27.5 inches from collar to hemline and is in VERY GOOD Condition, but may have fading, pilling, stains, pinholes or cracks to the decal as it is vintage and pre worn. This collectible sports shirt will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail…and, as always, we combine shipping on multiple purchases.
The shirt is part of an estate liquidation- one of the twins died, and the survivor is using a portion of his collection to help pay off his brother’s debts. Thanks for helping us preserve a portion of this family’s legacy.
Now, for a little history…”The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are a professional Canadian football team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba and the current Grey Cup champions. The Blue Bombers compete in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a member club of the league's West division. They play their home games at IG Field.
The Blue Bombers were founded in 1930 as the Winnipeg Rugby Football Club, later changed to the Winnipeg Football Club, which is the organization's legal name. The Blue Bombers are one of three community owned teams, without shareholders, in the CFL.
Since their establishment, the Blue Bombers have won the league's Grey Cup championship 12 times, most recently in 2021 CFL season when they defeated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 33–25 in the 108th Grey Cup. The team holds the record for most Grey Cup appearances of any team (26) and were the first club in Western Canada to win a championship..” (Source: Wikipedia)
